Position : Government Relations Specialist (GR Specialist)
Location: Al-Safi HQ , Al-Yarmouk Near Green Apple.
Responsibilities :
- Manage all company transactions with government entities, ministries, and public authorities.
- Represent the company before official bodies and maintain professional relationships with government officials.
- Process, submit, and follow up on company licenses, registrations, and official approvals.
- Handle employee-related government procedures such as work permits, residency, visas, and labor documentation.
- Ensure all company documents comply with local laws and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor expiration dates of licenses, permits, and official certificates and arrange timely renewals.
- Track changes in government regulations and inform management of any impact on operations.
- Prepare official letters, applications, and government forms in Arabic and English.
- Coordinate with HR, Legal, Finance, and Administration regarding government requirements.
- Follow up on pending cases and ensure smooth completion of official procedures.
- Maintain organized records and files for all government transactions and approvals.
- Support company projects by facilitating permits, site approvals, and municipal clearances when required.
- Ensure compliance with labor, immigration, and municipal regulations.
- Prepare periodic reports on GR activities, risks, and pending approvals.
- Assist management in resolving issues related to government authorities when needed.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree is a must.
2–5 years of experience in Government Relations or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of local government procedures and regulations.
Good communication skills.
Strong follow-up, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
