Branch Manager – Basra
Job Summary:
Nahj Al-Iraq (GWM) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to oversee and lead the operations of our Basra branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales, after-sales services, inventory, staff, and ensuring overall operational efficiency. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all branch functions, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and policies.
- Develop and implement strategic and operational plans for the branch to drive performance and growth.
- Monitor daily operations, workflow, and staff activities, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance.
- Set and communicate branch objectives, ensuring timely and cost-effective achievement of goals.
- Supervise and evaluate performance of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effectiveness.
- Manage inventory and stock levels, making strategic decisions on stock control, forecasting, and replenishment.
- Oversee the full vehicle and spare parts sales cycle, ensuring seamless order, delivery, and customer updates.
- Ensure after-sales services, including maintenance and repairs, are executed efficiently and to customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with logistics, finance, and other support departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure accurate billing and timely collection of payments in cooperation with the finance department.
- Enforce workplace safety standards and collaborate with management to maintain a secure work environment.
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to follow up on operations and ensure alignment with market trends.
- Submit regular performance reports to senior management.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the General Manager/CEO.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in branch management, preferably in the automotive or retail sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Solid understanding of inventory, sales, and customer service operations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Fluent in Arabic; English proficiency is a strong asset.
