We are now looking for an experienced and driven Country Manager to join our team and help drive and develop our expansion in Iraq. It is a newly created role giving an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to build a new team.
The main duties associated with the role of Country Manager include, but are not limited to:
- To work with the commercial team in the overall management of all regional sales and marketing activities.
- Drive increased revenue and profit in line with the Company`s growth plans.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events as required.
- Building and maintaining a network of relevant contacts to maximise opportunities for the company.
- Leadership - provide guidance to a team of coordination personnel in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Staff development - in collaboration with the HR team, compliance manager, and regional manager, manage new personnel recruitment and training, and help team members continually develop their skills.
- Invoicing efficiency - oversee monthly coordinator invoicing and ensure that account inquiries and errors are reviewed with coordinators, as well as implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
- Support direct reports- with contractual, commercial, and coordination process enquiries for the region.
- Arrange regular review meetings with key clients, assessing the quality of service (field personnel, Fulkrum office staff, reporting, invoicing).
- Support the commercial and business development team in negotiating new contracts and extensions to current agreements.
- Research relevant projects, companies, and market sectors to identify suitable high-quality new business opportunities.
- Negotiate as required to close deals and win new clients.
- Ensure that all sales opportunities are maximised.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience working within the local market
- Experience within the energy and inspection industry (oil & gas, renewables, nuclear)
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people management, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills
- Able to lead a group or team and set the standard expectation for their direct reports
- High degree of organisational skills and a proven ability to multitask
