At Eni, we are looking for an Executive Assistant within Eni Iraq B.V. in Basra, Iraq. You will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and organisational support to the Managing Director (MD), ensuring efficient workflow, effective communication and smooth daily operations. The role requires handling confidential information, managing schedules and coordinating internal and external activities to optimise the MD’s productivity.

Main responsibilities:
- Serve as executive administrative officer to the Managing Director and Eni Iraq BV top management.
- Support the organisation of management meetings, both internal and with partners/authorities, and monitor deadlines in the top management’s agenda.
- Ensure meeting facilities and associated arrangements are in place when requested.
- Provide document control activities related to the Correspondence Management System (CMS), ensuring correct addressing and archiving of letters received and sent by the company.
- Provide basic administrative support to management when requested.
- Issue monthly and weekly reports on CMS status.
- Support company managers (when requested) in drafting and formalising letters and documents for partners and authorities.
- Ensure the highest level of confidentiality and trust when processing company documents and correspondence.
- Support the organisation of overseas missions for Iraqi delegations (visa requests, insurance, hotel bookings and logistical support).
Skills and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Extensive experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting senior management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of corporate structures, business processes and executive-level coordination.
- Fluent in English and Arabic; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently, handle confidential information and manage high-pressure situations.
- Professional demeanour and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Trustworthiness, accuracy and discretion in handling sensitive information.
