We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist / Front Desk Agent to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional experiences and ensuring smooth operations at our establishment.
- Warmly greet and efficiently check-in guests, providing a positive first impression of our property
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests, ensuring their needs are met
- Handle account settlements accurately and professionally
- Take initiative to personalize guest experiences, going above and beyond to exceed expectations
- Promote hotel facilities and services, identifying opportunities to enhance guest stays through up-selling
- Maintain an organized and tidy reception area, ensuring all necessary materials are readily available
- Collaborate with other departments to address guest concerns and ensure seamless service delivery
- Stay informed about local events, attractions, and cultural customs to assist guests with inquiries
- Manage reservations, handle phone calls, and process guest correspondence efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of customer service
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Receptionist or Front Desk Agent in the hospitality industry
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in hotel management software and computer systems
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the local area, attractions, and cultural customs in Baghdad
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
