Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a key member of our hospitality organization, you will play a crucial role in managing reservations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences from the very first point of contact.
- Handle new and existing room reservations through various channels, including phone, email, and online booking systems
- Provide detailed information about our accommodations, services, and special offers to potential guests
- Maximize revenue by identifying upselling opportunities and promoting available services
- Monitor and manage multiple booking channels to ensure accuracy and prevent overbooking
- Collaborate with front office and restaurant teams to facilitate seamless guest experiences
- Work closely with revenue and sales teams to meet occupancy and revenue objectives
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer solutions to exceed expectations
- Process reservation modifications and cancellations efficiently
- Maintain accurate guest records and reservation details in the hotel's system
- Stay updated on local events, attractions, and services to provide comprehensive information to guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel reservations or a similar customer service role is preferred
- Proficiency with reservation systems, booking channels, and general computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing guest concerns
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
