We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a Painter in our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services for both interior and exterior projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent color matching skills, and the ability to work efficiently in various environments.
- Execute high-quality painting work on interior and exterior surfaces
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
- Mix and match paint colors to meet specific project requirements
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and sprayers as appropriate for each job
- Maintain and organize painting tools and equipment
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members and other trades on construction or renovation projects
- Interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and client requirements
- Provide accurate estimates for paint and supply needs
- Adapt to various work schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed
- Stay updated on new painting techniques and products in the industry
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a professional painter
- Proficiency in various painting techniques and expert use of painting tools
- In-depth knowledge of different paint types and their applications
- Strong understanding of surface preparation and finishing techniques
- Excellent color vision and aesthetic sense
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights
- Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment
- Skilled in using hand and power tools effectively
