Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Supervisor to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion of assignments.
- Supervise and coordinate carpentry teams on various construction projects
- Plan and organize work schedules, assigning tasks to team members
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and local building codes
- Manage inventory of materials and tools, placing orders as needed
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior carpenters
- Conduct regular quality inspections of completed work
- Collaborate with other construction professionals and project managers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during projects
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and team performance
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in carpentry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Advanced carpentry skills and knowledge of various woodworking techniques
- Expertise in using power tools and carpentry equipment
- Strong project management and team leadership abilities
