At Eni, we are looking for a Project Service Coordinator within Eni Iraq B.V. in Basra, Iraq. You will be responsible for the site Project Services function for both LSB and LSC Expansion Projects, including project planning and scheduling, progress monitoring, cost control and accounting (quantity surveying) and document control. You will support the site Project Execution Team in carrying out their specific activities efficiently and effectively, in line with project cost and time targets.
Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).

Main Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and regular project progress analysis in accordance with project procedures, including reviewing and evaluating contractors’ detailed project schedules against the plan. Conduct rigorous analysis and quality checks of both contractor and project team schedules, highlighting deviations and trends to project management through regular progress reports.
- Support the Head Office Project Services Coordinator in consolidating detailed contractor schedules into the project master schedule, with clear identification of project critical path activities.
- Participate in progress and ad hoc project meetings, ensuring planning, cost control and document control engineers are kept informed.
- Produce accurate project cost estimates and associated Value of Work Done (VoWD) as input into the overall work package development plan and budget. Ensure alignment with the agreed cost breakdown structure and project cost estimate procedures, providing the best possible estimate based on available information and maintaining the cost estimate database. Review contractors’ cost estimates as needed.
- Endorse suppliers’ and contractors’ progress invoices and payment requests based on work effectively performed and previously certified by Construction and Engineering/Procurement team members. Support the Contracts Administration function in validating supplier/contractor invoicing.
- Provide support to the Contracts Administration function in evaluating suppliers’ and contractors’ variation order proposals, including quantities and associated unit prices.
- Perform site document control functions, including archiving (both hard and soft copies) and distributing formal correspondence between the company and suppliers/contractors within the site execution team, in accordance with EPC contractual procedures and internal correspondence protocols.
- Demonstrate personal commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment by adhering to the project’s HSE plan and training requirements.
Skills And Experience Required
- University degree (Engineering preferred).
- Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including significant experience in a similar position.
- Proficient in Excel, Access, Word, scheduling software (e.g., PRIMAVERA) and cost control software (e.g., SAP).
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Ability to participate in management reviews of ongoing projects, take an active role in decision-making processes and work independently.
- Working knowledge of all relevant discipline codes and standards.
