About the Role
Tornet Company is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Management Office (PMO) in overseeing and executing a wide range of strategic initiatives. This role is vital to ensuring projects across various departments including infrastructure, technology, government partnerships, and business development are implemented effectively, on time, and in compliance with local and international standards.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, and English, and capable of navigating government, banking, and private-sector environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
· Support the PMO in planning, monitoring, and reporting on company-wide projects
· Maintain project timelines, risk registers, and progress documentation
· Ensure follow-ups on tasks, deadlines, and dependencies with involved stakeholders
Communication & Coordination
· Act as the communication hub between internal departments (technical, admin, HR, sales) and external entities (clients, vendors, government)
· Schedule and lead coordination meetings; record and track action points
· Serve as a key contact for project stakeholders, partners, and institutions
Client & Government Engagement
· Visit client offices, ministries, and government agencies to follow up on project status, paperwork, or approvals
· Ensure smooth execution of projects requiring regulatory or inter-agency cooperation
· Represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner during field visits and official meetings
Documentation & Proposal Support
· Assist in preparing project proposals, business development documents, and official communications
· Track and manage project files, approvals, and document flows (contracts, permits, MoUs, etc.)
· Coordinate submission of paperwork with government institutions and banks
Compliance & Administration
· Maintain a good understanding of applicable regulations in KRG, Iraq, and relevant international practices
· Assist in ensuring project implementation complies with legal, financial, and technical requirements
· Keep up-to-date records of all regulatory interactions and follow-ups
