Job Summary
seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist . The role involves managing and maintaining the firm’s entire IT infrastructure, including the email system, domain, devices, network, internet, user support (office and field), and digital assets. This role is vital to ensuring smooth operations across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Systems
- Manage and maintain the firm’s domain and DNS settings.
- Administer and troubleshoot email systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
- Ensure reliable and secure internet connectivity across office.
- Set up and maintain servers, routers, firewalls, and other network equipment.
- Maintain data backup systems, file servers, and cloud storage platforms.
User & Device Support
- Provide technical support to lawyers, paralegals, and admin staff in the office and field.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, and scanners.
- Monitor and manage IT asset inventory, including procurement and maintenance.
Security & Access Control
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures, including antivirus, firewalls, and secure user access.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication.
- Maintain and update firm-wide IT policies and best practices.
Other Responsibilities
- Coordinate with third-party IT vendors and service providers.
- Support online tools and platforms used for case management or legal research.
- Monitor and report on system performance and incidents.
- Stay updated with current technology trends relevant to law firm operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, software and hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience managing domains, emails, firewalls, VPNs, and remote access tools.
- Ability to work independently and handle urgent IT issues calmly and efficiently.
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
