Talia Communications is seeking an experienced TAC Senior Technician (Technical Assistance Center) to join our Global Service Operations team. This role is critical in providing high-quality technical support and maintaining service availability within a 24/7 Technical Assistance Center (TAC) environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Act as the primary contact for service support and issue resolution.
– Manage customer interactions via multiple channels, ensuring high service standards.
– Monitor network performance and diagnose issues using advanced tools.
– Handle escalations and coordinate with technical teams and vendors.
– Maintain accurate records and generate performance reports.
– Provide Tier 1 and advanced technical support for VSAT, fiber, microwave, and Wi-Fi services.
– Ensure compliance with SLA/OLA targets and operational standards.
– Train and mentor junior technicians and update technical knowledge base.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, network engineering, or equivalent experience.
– 5–10 years in a similar role within communications or telecommunications.
– Strong knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing, VLANs, and routing.
– Experience with network devices (routers, switches) and monitoring tools.
– CCNA, GVF, or equivalent certifications preferred.
– Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
