Job Overview:
The Warehouse & Asset Staff is responsible for managing inventory, tracking company assets, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. This role ensures that all physical assets and materials are properly received, recorded, stored, and distributed, while keeping accurate documentation for asset tracking and reporting purposes.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
- Issue materials and assets based on approved requests or work orders.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date asset and inventory tracking system (manual or digital).
- Label, tag, and catalog all new assets with serial numbers and proper documentation.
- Conduct periodic physical stock checks and report discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, and department heads regarding stock levels and asset needs.
- Ensure proper storage conditions and organization of warehouse items.
- Support asset disposal processes (tagging obsolete items, reporting damage, etc.).
- Prepare and submit regular inventory and asset reports to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Assist in logistics and stock transfers between departments or project sites.
- Keep records of maintenance or movement history of equipment/assets.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or asset management.
- Familiarity with asset tracking systems, inventory software, or Excel.
- Good organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety and handling procedures.
- Physical ability to lift and move items as needed.
