Overview:
A client of ours is seeking for a procurement coordinator to be based in Erbil.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Identifying upcoming contractual needs ensuring the appropriate procurement process is included in project plans
- Reporting on procurement activity and contract performance
- Monitoring contracts as they come to the end of their term to ensure that they have achieved their objectives and plans
- Overseeing contract amendments when necessary
- Acting as a point of escalation for matters related to suppliers and procurement
- Monitoring and mitigating contractual risks.
- Advising upon and supporting the monitoring and reporting of supplier performance metrics
- Following up and escalating payment and invoicing issues with suppliers to Finance
- Providing advice on the design and development of tender documentation
Requirements:
Required experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
- Previous experience [2-3 years] in relevant work
- Previous experience managing employees
Required skills:
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong data analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills
- Understanding of the challenges and aim to resolve them successfully
- Strong IT literacy skills with experience in Microsoft Excel
- Strong English and Kurdish language is required, other local languages are desired.
