Job Description
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues in equipment.
- Maintain and repair refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, ovens, stoves, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers.
- Support refrigeration systems in kitchens, cold rooms, and storage areas.
- Ensure proper calibration and functioning of thermostats, timers, and control systems
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance comply with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Follow hotel safety policies and proper handling of chemicals, refrigerants, and cleaning agents.
- Keep records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and service requests from kitchen and laundry departments.
- Coordinate with other technicians to minimize downtime and disruption of operations.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and request replenishment when required.
- Assist in energy and water-saving initiatives related to equipment
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of kitchen and laundry equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies.
