Summary
The OOH Specialist is responsible for identifying and securing billboard locations, managing existing campaigns, and ensuring that all outdoor advertising efforts align with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and Secure New Billboard Locations: Research and propose potential new locations for billboard placements, ensuring alignment with target market demographics and client objectives. Share progress and major opportunities with the OOH Supervisor and provide high-level updates to the Operations Supervisor.
- Negotiate Contracts: Engage with property owners, landlords, and municipalities to negotiate favorable terms for securing billboard sites, reporting contract terms and negotiation outcomes to the OOH Supervisor, while ensuring that the Operations Supervisor is informed of key negotiations or major agreements.
- Conduct Site Assessments: Evaluate potential billboard locations for visibility, traffic flow, and compliance with local regulations. Share assessment reports with the OOH Supervisor and escalate any critical issues directly to the Operations Supervisor if required.
- Coordinate with Installation Teams: Ensure smooth communication and collaboration between site acquisition and the installation team for the timely setup and maintenance of billboards. Report any operational challenges or significant updates to both the OOH Supervisor and the Operations Supervisor.
- Manage Existing Campaigns: Oversee the production and placement of billboard advertisements, ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations. Update the OOH Supervisor on campaign progress and flag major milestones or issues directly to the Operations Supervisor.
- Analyse Performance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of billboard placements, providing data-driven recommendations for optimization to the OOH Supervisor, while sharing key insights or performance data with the Operations Supervisor during regular check-ins.
- Stay Updated: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies to enhance outdoor advertising strategies and contribute innovative ideas to both the OOH Supervisor and the Operations Supervisor.
- Collaborate with the OOH Supervisor: Work closely with the OOH Supervisor to ensure that objectives are met, keeping the team aligned with broader operational goals and providing regular updates to the Operations Supervisor on key campaigns or challenges.
- Escalate Critical Issues: When necessary, escalate any significant operational, logistical, or strategic challenges directly to the Operations Supervisor, ensuring proactive communication and swift resolution.

- Excellent IT literacy with excellent working knowledge of MS office tools and OOH management systems and software.
