Location: Iraq/Basra – Full Time / On-Site
Role Objective:
Leads and manages all non-clinical operational departments to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing hospital environment. Drives operational readiness, facility management, workforce efficiency, and service excellence in alignment with healthcare regulatory and accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee non-clinical support functions: HR, logistics & supply chain, housekeeping, security, biomedical, reception, maintenance & facilities.
2. Ensure operational readiness across departments, maintaining an uninterrupted patient-care environment.
3. Lead the implementation and monitoring of SOPs, ensuring compliance with MOH regulations and international standards.
4. Manage facility operations, including utilities, engineering services, and maintenance plans.
5. Lead emergency preparedness and disaster management programs with multidisciplinary coordination.
6. Monitor operational KPIs (OR turnover support, bed management logistics, housekeeping quality, response time).
7. Implement Lean process improvement to optimize performance.
8. Lead digital adoption in administrative workflows, including task automation and reporting systems.
9. Support clinical departments on operational needs to ensure smooth workflow and patient flow.
10. Manage third-party vendors, including contract performance and procurement support.
11. Enhance patient and staff experience through service improvements and timely issue resolution.
12. Oversee staffing plans, onboarding, and performance evaluations for admin/support teams.
13. Develop training programs to enhance service quality and communication standards.
14. Promote accountability, teamwork, and professional conduct across support departments.
Required Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field / Board-certified physician
2. 7+ years of progressive experience in hospital operations or healthcare administration, including supervisory responsibility.
3. Knowledge of accreditation standards.
