Purpose of the Role
To manage and coordinate a wide range of HR functions, ensuring compliance with Iraqi labor laws, company policies, and operational goals. Acts as the first point of contact for HR-related issues and supports management in strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Manage employee relations, handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with labor law, social security, and tax regulations (PIT).
- Coordinate training and development programs for employees.
- Maintain accurate HR records and prepare monthly HR reports.
- Support payroll processing by verifying attendance and leave records.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Liaise with department heads to understand staffing needs.
- Participate in performance appraisal cycles and succession planning.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the telecom sector.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
