Key Responsibilities
I. Strategy & Sales Management
- Develop and execute annual sales and market expansion strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Oversee regional oilfield service sales performance and ensure achievement of revenue and profit targets.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with the Iraqi Ministry of Energy, state-owned oil companies, and international oil companies (IOCs).
- Lead project bidding, contract negotiation, and commercial discussions to secure and deliver projects successfully.
- Optimize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to strengthen customer satisfaction and long-term cooperation.
II. Market & Business Development
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry policy developments; prepare regular market reports.
- Identify potential projects and lead efforts for timely business implementation.
- Develop partnerships and promote joint ventures, alliances, and collaborative initiatives across Iraq.
III. Team & Localization Management
- Build, guide, and develop a high-performing sales team with strong market insight.
- Promote Iraqi talent development to strengthen the team’s long-term competitiveness.
- Enhance cross-departmental collaboration across technical, operational, financial, and PR teams to ensure seamless execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering, Energy Management, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the oilfield industry and 5 years in senior management roles.
- Strong knowledge of the Iraqi oil and gas market, regulations, and contract models.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (Chinese proficiency preferred); strong cross-cultural communication skills.
- Results-driven, with proven leadership and business execution capabilities in complex and multicultural environments.
