Job Title: Account Manager – Enterprise Sales

Job Purpose:
The Account Manager – Enterprise Sales is a mid-senior management role responsible for driving merchant acquisition, relationship management, and revenue growth within assigned enterprise territories.
The role oversees and manages the Merchant MIT team to execute merchant recruitment, onboarding, and field activation campaigns, ensuring a consistent pipeline of active merchants and high customer satisfaction levels. The Account Manager also leads after-sales engagement with retail merchants and institutional partners to maintain retention, service quality, and continuous transaction growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Merchant Recruitment & Acquisition
- Lead the Merchant MIT team to identify, recruit, and onboard new retail merchants across assigned territories.
- Develop and implement acquisition plans targeting priority segments such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, and services.
- Ensure merchants are fully trained on AsiaPay systems, POS terminals, and wallet features.
- Oversee merchant KYC verification, contract documentation, and onboarding processes in compliance with CBI and internal standards.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Product teams to align merchant campaigns and promotions with territory targets.
After-Sales Management & Relationship Building
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for existing retail merchants and enterprise partners.
- Conduct regular engagement visits to resolve operational, technical, or financial issues.
- Monitor transaction performance, identify inactive or underperforming merchants, and deploy reactivation strategies.
- Manage merchant communication on upgrades, product changes, and new service offerings.
- Drive merchant loyalty through tailored support, retention initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
Merchant MIT Supervision & Field Operations
- Directly manage and coach the Merchant MIT team, ensuring structured route planning, daily reporting, and performance discipline.
- Approve monthly Merchant MIT route plans aligned to acquisition and activation priorities.
- Set and track KPIs for Merchant MITs, including merchant acquisition numbers, activation rates, and transaction growth.
- Conduct weekly review meetings and field accompaniment to monitor MIT performance and customer engagement quality.
- Ensure accurate field reporting and timely submission of merchant activity data.
Revenue Growth & Performance Monitoring
- Develop and execute strategies to grow transaction volumes across active merchant accounts.
- Monitor revenue performance and conduct periodic profitability reviews by merchant category.
- Identify upselling opportunities for new AsiaPay services (e.g., e-commerce integration, bill payment modules, or bulk payment products).
- Work with the Regional Manager to prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports.
- Ensure all commercial and operational targets set for the territory are met.
Coordination & Process Management
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations to ensure timely settlement, reconciliation, and issue resolution for merchants.
- Coordinate with Compliance to maintain full adherence to AML/CFT and KYC policies.
- Partner with Marketing for visibility campaigns, merchant branding, and field promotions.
- Liaise with the IT/Technical team to support integration issues and POS performance.
- Contribute to market intelligence gathering, competitor tracking, and strategy refinement.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain an updated merchant database (active, dormant, prospective) with performance and contact details.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports on merchant acquisition, transaction performance, and MIT productivity.
- Prepare quarterly summaries on merchant satisfaction and key operational issues.
- Present actionable recommendations to management to improve field efficiency and merchant experience.

Education, Experience & Qualifications necessary to perform the job:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in sales, channel management, or account management, preferably in digital financial services (DFS), banking, telecom, or FMCG.
Language skills: Arabic, English and Kurdish.
Key Required Skills:
- Experience leading field sales teams or agents is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of merchant ecosystems, POS operations, and retail payments.
- Demonstrated success in customer relationship management and service delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and reporting skills (Arabic and English).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).
