Global Aviation is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Officer to join its team and support the company’s technical operations under the following requirements:
Job title: IT Officer
Department: IT
Reporting to: IT Manager
Qualifications:
1- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field.
2- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT.
3- Proven experience with Airline operational systems.
4- Hands-on knowledge of:
• reservation systems
• departure control system (DCS)
• operation control center (OCC)
• weight & balance system
5- ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment under pressure
6- fluent in English language (written and spoken)
7- experience supporting systems during flight operations.
8- Experience with ERP Systems especially Odoo ERP.
9- Experience with network, servers and cybersecurity basics.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Strong understanding of aviation operational and safety requirements.
2- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions
3- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
4- Excellent Communication and teamwork skills
5- High attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
• Working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Workdays: Saturday to Thursday.
• Availability to provide support outside working hours when needed.
