Job Details - MOC Project Engineer
Role Synopsis

The Management of Change (MOC) Project Engineer is a role within the ROO M&E MOC team, reporting to the MOC Team Lead in the Maintenance and Engineering Function.
The incumbent will be tasked with delivering minor modifications across the entire Rumaila field. They are responsible for strategic planning, technical decision-making, and utilisation of communication skills to ensure the safe and reliable timely delivery of multiple projects that comply with ROO values and standards.
Key Accountabilities
• Manage a portfolio of business-critical modifications from concept to commission
• Facilitation of design and construction assessments
• Identify/initiate future MOCS which require to be worked to meet future TAR / VRP programmes
• Setting priorities for modifications which require to be urgently progressed to meet the TAR/VRP delivery schedule
• Identifying MOCs which require a level 3 plan, holding deliverable / planning sessions with engineers to confirm start dates/durations
• Resolving day-to-day issues such as providing direction on how to progress work-scopes; discussing concerns with site personnel; raising DRs through materials coordinator
• Progressing approved MOCs through construction by engaging with relevant construction authority to raise CTR with a respective contractor
• Focal point for design/construction TQs
• Interface between MOC team, Small Projects, Major Projects, and external operators to ensure respective teams' modifications are realised and understood throughout each team’s design process
• Development of local and national Project Engineers as part of the nationalisation programme.
Essential Education
Degree/diploma qualified engineer
Essential experience and job requirements
Extensive and relevant industry experience in brownfield environments. At least ten years of industry experience

• Key skills include communication, interpersonal relationships, facilitation, influencing, and negotiating
• Ability to develop others and foster diverse relationships in a multicultural environment
