About the Job:
The Junior IT Support is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the functionality of all IT software and hardware within the company. The role ensures seamless operations through proper coordination with the IT Manager Assistant and IT Officer, supporting both daily operations and long-term IT reliability.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, networks, cabling, and related equipment.
• Install and update genuine software for all users.
• Perform regular data backups and support backup needs as required.
• Troubleshoot IT-related issues for PCs, printers, and other hardware.
• Maintain system security, network health, and IP Phone systems.
• Support employees in resolving software, hardware, and application issues.
• Conduct routine PC maintenance and ensure all systems are updated.
• Enforce company internet usage policies and monitor compliance.
• Evaluate hardware/software performance and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with external providers for service and maintenance support.
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: Fresh graduate to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Languages: Kurdish (fluent), English (Advanced); Arabic is a plus.
• Skills & Competencies: Technical problem-solving, adaptability, communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
