The Mechanical Engineer in the Administration Department plays a key role in ensuring the operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability of the bank's facilities. This position involves overseeing HVAC systems, mechanical maintenance, energy efficiency projects, and liaising with vendors and contractors. The engineer supports the smooth functioning of physical infrastructure across branches and head offices, aligning facility management with the bank's strategic objectives.
Project Scope & Technical Coordination: Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables related to electromechanical aspects, ensuring compliance with bank standards and design requirements. Planning & Progress Monitoring: Track project plans, progress stages, and deadlines, preparing regular progress reports and ensuring all work is completed within the time limits. Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with consultants, contractors, department managers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution and address issues in a timely manner. Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and manage all internal and external correspondence, agreements, and records; ensure alignment with governmental standards and bank risk policies. On-Site Supervision: Supervise site implementation and ensure quality control in accordance with design specifications, security requirements, and engineering standards. Budget & Sustainability Support: Assist in budget preparation, cost control activities, and implement sustainable technologies and solutions within projects.
Project Handover & Maintenance Oversight: Manage project handover, including testing and commissioning, and ensure all maintenance issues are resolved within the liability period.
