Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of baked goods and pastries including croissants, Danish pastries, puff pastries, and breakfast items. This role requires creativity, consistency, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a range of fresh pastries and baked items daily.
- Develop and test new recipes for seasonal and à la carte menus.
- Ensure quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
- Manage inventory and ensure freshness of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry section.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to coordinate production.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a hotel or high-end bakery.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, dough handling, and baking.
- Creativity in presentation and recipe development.
- Ability to work under pressure and during early shifts.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
