Position Objective:
Drive revenue growth by leading and optimizing the performance of direct sales, agency relationships, and corporate clients. Lay the foundation for scalable, data-driven sales operations.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales plans
- Define clear KPIs per branch, channel, and product line
- Manage corporate client acquisition and retention
- Identify and activate broker and agency partnerships
- Ensure sales practices comply with regulatory and ethical standards
- Sales Team Management:
- Build and lead a high-performance sales team
- Set individual targets and review performance regularly
- Support branch sales representatives and agents with training and tools
- Monitor pipeline and deal progress via CRM
- Coordination with Marketing:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Supervisor to ensure campaign alignment with sales needs
- Share market feedback to inform campaign and product messaging
- Co-develop lead generation strategies and events
- Reporting & CRM Oversight
- Provide weekly and monthly sales performance reports
- Ensure proper use of CRM across sales teams
- Monitor sales funnel efficiency and improve conversion rates
Position Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA would be a plus
- Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience (preferably in insurance or financial services), including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, basic formulas)
- Skilled in using professional email platforms and task management portals (e.g., Trello, Asana, Slack, Outlook or Gmail Business)
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, or other insurance-related CRMs)
- Familiarity with reporting tools and sales dashboards, comfortable with using video conferencing tools and shared cloud storage
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Target-oriented and self-motivated with a strategic mindset
- Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data and take action
Other Requirements:
- Fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, and English (spoken and written)
- Must own a personal vehicle and hold a valid driving license
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to support branch operations and meet with partners/clients
