📑 Job Description – Sales Managers (3 Positions)
Company: POWERCHINA Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co. Ltd.
Base Locations: 2 in Basra, 1 in Baghdad (Iraq)
Product Line: LFP Battery Energy Storage System (Residential, C&I, Utility Scale)
Compensation: 600–1000 USD/month (base) + Travel Package + Sales Bonus
1. Role Description
The Sales Manager will be based in Basra (2 persons) or Baghdad (1 person), responsible for developing the Iraq market for solar + battery energy storage systems (Residential, C&I, Utility level).
This includes market development, customer acquisition, distributor/agent recruitment, site visits, solution presentation, and sales closing. Candidates may grow into Senior Manager / Senior Engineer / Deputy Country Manager.
This is a position with a leading Chinese state-owned power company, offering stability, training, and long-term career opportunities.
Internship candidates (excellent graduates) may also be considered. Candidates who recommend other strong sales/technical staff may enjoy higher salary & position.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Iraq market research on micro-grid and energy storage systems.
- Analyze competing products, pricing, sales strategies, customs/government policies.
- Independently conduct frequent customer visits (shops, distributors, factories, C&I end-users, data centers, supermarkets).
- Educate local partners/customers about energy storage solutions; recruit agents/distributors/end users.
- Conduct site assessments and collect technical/commercial requirements.
- Work closely with HQ engineering team to deliver tailored solutions.
- Draft and maintain country-wide sales system, reports, and documents.
- Support office setup: warehouse/office rental, logistics, vehicles, accommodation.
- Deliver speeches on energy storage/micro-grid solutions in conferences and meetings.
- Support recruitment and training of local staff (Admin, HR, Engineers, Aftersales, Drivers, Guards).
- Organize exhibitions, marketing campaigns, and “PowerChina Day” events in Iraq.
3. Candidate Requirements
Mandatory:
- Excellent English (Arabic preferred), proficient in Microsoft Office & PPT.
- Loyal, high execution ability, integrity (not corrupt).
- Strong networking and relationship building ability in Iraq.
- Experience in sales and customer support (preferably in Solar / Energy Storage / UPS / Power / Transformer / Generator).
- Willing to travel frequently across Iraq; flexible to support HQ leaders/engineers.
Preferred (not mandatory):
- Driving ability in Iraq (company car provided).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy or related fields.
- Hands-on solar/energy storage product knowledge (installation is a plus).
- Knowledge of solar systems, LFP batteries, inverters, power grids, generators.
- Skills in Photoshop, AutoCAD, renewable energy design software.
- Strong calculation and installation knowledge → higher salary level.
- Prior experience in selling energy storage products → higher salary/position.
4. Career Development

- Training: HQ will provide energy storage product & solution training.
5. Compensation & Benefits
