Purpose of the Job:
The Solutions Sales Engineer is a key player in bridging the gap between our innovative IT solutions and our clients’ needs. This role involves working closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, develop tailored solutions, and effectively communicate the value and technical specifications of our offerings.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Solution Development:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business challenges and requirements and develop customized IT solutions that meet their needs.
- Responsible for building business use cases based on customer requirements and pain points.
- Research governmental and private sector market needs and identify how our solutions meet their demands.
- Responsible for building Demo for the use case and present it to customer to get their buy in.
- Creating Business studies, Return of Investment (ROI) and Market analysis to validate and evaluate each opportunity.
Sales:
- Generate leads, opportunities, build and nurture client relationships.
- Prepare & arrange meetings and visits with potential clients, building key relationships with clients.
- Understand Solutions Selling methodology and tools and apply these regularly to gain a better understanding of the customers’ environment.
- Achieve Sales Target for new and existing customer’s growth.
Negotiation & Deal Closing:
- For new clients, handle negotiations and deal closing from point of lead generation till closing the deal.
- Provide our customers with a clear understanding of the functionality of the products which fully cover their demands and achieve their business goals.
Technical Sales Support:
- Demonstrate technical expertise and support during the entire sales process, from pre-sales to post-sales, including product demonstrations, presentations, and proposal preparation.
- Manage the technical aspects of sales contracts to ensure opportunities are realized and deal is closed in coordination with Proposal Management team.
Client Consultation:
- Act as a consultant to clients, advising them on the best technology solutions to achieve their business goals, while addressing any technical questions or concerns they may have.
Market Awareness:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the IT industry to ensure that our solutions remain competitive and relevant.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to the enhancement of our product offerings.
Training and Documentation:
- Provide training to clients and internal teams on the features and benefits of our solutions, and create clear and comprehensive documentation to support this.

Qualifications:
- Experience in technical sales or pre-sales and selling technology solutions, with a proven track record of developing and closing sales within the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of IT products and services, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple terms for a non-technical audience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Self-motivated sales results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and closing opportunities.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience.
