Responsibilities:

Orientation & Familiarization:
Undertakes orientation and familiarization activities, under guidance of senior colleagues, to gain an understanding and working knowledge of Procurement procedures, methodologies and practices.
Assignment Completion:
Carries out assignments of limited scope and complexity under close supervision, in order to ensure all tasks are completed to time and quality standards.
Information Gathering:
Undertakes information gathering, research and review of data, as directed, to provide relevant feedback advice.
Purchasing Activities:
Makes purchases of low-cost, non-essential items, under close supervision, in order to meet end-user requirements and develop own expertise.
Integrity:
Conducts all procurement activities in compliance with company standards, policies and procedures in order to ensure integrity of operations.
Personal Development:
Develops own professional expertise through optimising on-the-job and formal training opportunities and formal professional qualifications.
Health Safety & Environment:
Ensures strict compliance with all approved HSE procedures and practices in order to afford protection to life, property and the environment.
To perform any other duties assigned by his direct Supervisor / Manager.
To comply with the Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental requirements of the work place by complying and executing the standard work procedure and the related legal and regulatory requirements that the company is abided by, in addition to use the related safe and environmental friendly equipment’s, moreover is to
To comply with the Occupational health and Safety requirements that includes but not limited to Company Standard Work Systems and Procedures and any related applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Utilize safe and environmental friendly equipment;
Understand work associated identified risks and corresponding hazards as well as significant environmental aspects.
Ensure the compliance of the utilized equipment to Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Standard requirements.
Understand and execute his/her pre the identified role in case of emergency..

Qualifications:

Previous Experience in Procurement for minimum 2 years
Experience in Factory and FMCG is a plus
Excellent knowledge of the local market, suppliers.
Good computer skills and ERP systems
Kurdish, Arabic and English is a plus
