About the Role:
This opening is on behalf of our client in Erbil. They are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Business Development Officer to lead growth initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, and expand market presence.
Job Description:
The Senior Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and implementing strategies to grow the company’s market share. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations, close deals, and ensure long-term partnerships.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align strategies with market demands.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and reports for management.
- Track and report performance metrics for business development initiatives.
- Mentor and support junior business development staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 4–6 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in [insert relevant industry, e.g., food, FMCG, logistics, or tech]).
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CRM tools experience is a plus.
