Summary
The primary responsibility of the Head of Business Intelligence & Advisory is to lead teams to deliver BI & Analytic solutions and services that enables Korek to evolve into a fast paced analytic-driven organization, while ultimately leading to higher growth across core KPIs (Revenue and subscribers) through purposeful use of data analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead his/her teams by establishing and executing a vision for the delivery of information and analytics platforms and solutions to the business’s key stakeholders, including internal cross function heads.
- Deliver and support long-term strategic goals & vision for BI platform and Data Stack in conjunction with data users, internal customers and other stakeholders.
- Based on data findings and trends, make recommendations for improvements, standardization, consolidation of reports to common layouts for supportability/usability, and determine ways to optimize information generation and distribution.
- Manage resource allocation according to priorities.
- Attend and provide input for CAPEX and budget.
- Oversee the definition and documentation of all system requirements associated with new application projects.
- Report, analyze and own Core Marketing / Commercial KPIs on an ongoing basis – Subscribers, Revenue, Recharge, Minutes of Usage, and ARPU etc.
- Interpret financial significance of Operational & Commercial KPIs.
- Lead in the Analysis of Customer Base Movement, Churn Management, Quality of Sales, Offer and service Analytics, Geo Cluster Performance.
- Perform trending and critical analysis to highlight issues and draw possible conclusions as to their causes.
- Liaise with the data warehouse and application owners to reconcile data sources in order to ensure integrity of reports.
- Analyze user’s reporting requirements and develop report layouts in conjunction with IT to populate with data.
- Identify and initiate changes in reports to keep pace with an ever changing environment while maintaining deadlines.
- Work with Business Risk in alerting Revenue Assurance of possible fraud or revenue leakage.

Competencies
- Expertise in Business Intelligence, Data Science, KPI Reporting and Analytics within the telecommunication industry.
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience with technical areas including reporting software the BI layer, DWH, Analytical Tools, Modelling Software.
- Excellent knowledge of reporting and visualization tools MS Excel, Pivot Tables, V- Look up, MS Power BI, PowerPoint.
- Working technical experience with relational database servers, including Oracle.
- Strong familiarity with data preparation, processing, classification, and forecasting.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
