Tamam is a tech-driven platform based in Iraq that connects consumers with local businesses (B2C) and enables restaurants, hotels, and cafés to order daily-needed supplies from wholesale suppliers (B2B). Job Purpose:
As a Business Development Executive, you will be the face of Tamam to local restaurants, cafés, hotels, and wholesalers. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, signing contracts, onboarding them to the Tamam platform, and ensuring long-term account success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach new restaurants, cafés, and suppliers to join Tamam
- Pitch Tamam’s B2B and B2C value proposition to business owners and decision-makers
- Sign contracts and agreements with clients
- Guide new partners through the onboarding process (product listings, pricing, photos, etc.)
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with partners
- Monitor partner activity and performance on the platform
- Support clients in solving operational issues or product updates
- Collect feedback and report customer needs and suggestions to management
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager to hit regional growth targets
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1–3 years experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Ability to build relationships and close deals
- Basic knowledge of the restaurant, retail, or tech industry (preferred)
- Fluent in Kurdish or Arabic; English is a plus
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and organized
- Willing to be on the field and meet clients in person
