Job Description
[Alalamyah Pharmaceutical Industry] is seeking to hire a QC Analyst to join the Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory analyses of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products, in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and approved quality standards such as GMP/GLP.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct chemical, physical, and microbiological tests and analyses (as per specialization).
- Accurately document analysis results in a timely manner according to approved systems.
- Periodically calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Adhere to safety and quality procedures within the laboratory.
- Contribute to investigations related to out-of-specification (OOS) / out-of-trend (OOT) analyses.
- Prepare analysis reports and present them to management.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Laboratory Analysis, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory, preferably in a pharmaceutical or industrial environment.
- Good knowledge of GMP / GLP fundamentals.
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment such as HPLC, UV, FTIR, among others.
- Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
