Position Summary: AUIB is seeking a dynamic and highly capable University Registrar, experienced in United States-based university registration systems, to drive its complex mission of delivering efficient and accurate academic administration products and services to students, faculty, and staff. In this important role, the Registrar leads an Associate Registrar and Data Analyst in managing schedules, academic grades, graduation audits, and other administrative requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and lead the Registration team—including an Associate Registrar and Data Analyst—ensuring quality service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Enrollment Management: Oversee student registration, course scheduling, records management, transcript processing, and degree conferrals while ensuring compliance with academic policies.
- MOHESR Coordination: Serve as a liaison with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, ensuring timely submission of student data, graduation records, and academic program documentation.
- System Optimization & Reporting: Collaborate with IT teams to enhance student information systems and generate accurate enrollment reports for internal use and governmental compliance.
- Policy Implementation & Problem Solving: Resolve enrollment-related issues efficiently and professionally while ensuring adherence to institutional policies and national regulations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Expertise in US-based university Registrar best practices: Demonstrated successful performance as a university registrar or associate registrar.
- Technological Proficiency: Comfortable working with student information systems and scheduling software.
- Communication and people skills: Works well with multiple, simultaneous projects and relates well to colleagues in a multi-cultural environment.
- Analytical Thinking: Able to analyze data, generate actionable insights, and support institutional decision-making. Able to design systems to address recurring challenges.
Education and Experience:
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred, ideally in education administration, higher education, or a related field.
- Years of Relevant Experience: Minimum of 4 years in higher education registration, enrollment, student records, or academic services.
- Specific Skills or Expertise: Expertise in academic workflows, student data reporting, and interdepartmental coordination.
- Additional Certifications: Training or certification in student information systems or academic administration is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Integrity, attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to student success—aligned with AUIB’s mission and values.
