Responsibilities:
As an Asset Accountant, you must effectively perform the tasks below.
Job Summary:
The Asset Accountant is responsible for tracking, recording, and managing a company’s fixed assets, including purchases, disposals, depreciation, and asset transfers. This role ensures that all asset-related financial records are accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the fixed asset register and update it regularly
- Record asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation
- Reconcile asset accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records
- Assist in physical asset counts and audits
- Prepare asset-related reports for management and auditors
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Basic understanding of fixed asset accounting and depreciation methods
Working Conditions & Benefit Package:
- Working Days & Hours: 6 days per week, 9 hours per day (Including 1 Hour Break)
- Salary: Negotiable, based on qualification & experience.
