📌 About the Role
We are looking for a Localization & Business Operations Specialist to join our team. This role combines language expertise, cultural insight, and business operations support. You will be providing support on the ground and at the same time you will get an opportunity to grow alongside an international team of professionals in Telco, FinTech, Product & Game Development.
📌 Key Responsibilities
Linguistic & Cultural Work
- Proofread and translate texts between Arabic, Kurdish, and English. You must be fluent in Arabic and have at least B2 (upper-intermediate or higher) level of English. Kurdish is a big plus.
- Provide cultural insights and local market knowledge and research.
- Support content adaptation and localization for Iraq and other MENA countries.
Business Operations & Communication
- Reach out to local companies, distributors, and event organizers.
- Connect with local influencers and explore marketing opportunities.
- Keep an eye on relevant local events and attend selected ones.
- Coordinate daily operations inside the company and between the company and our partners.
Product & Service Support
- Staging and beta testing of our new applications developed in-house.
- Conduct surveys on our applications developed in-house and organize beta testing with focus groups.
- Provide technical support inside the company and support system and service integrations with our partners.
- Content creation and management.
Data & Reporting
- Create and analyze service / application performance and marketing reports.
- Track KPIs, visualize data, and prepare monthly / weekly / daily reports.
- Maintain performance documentation.
- Monitor company inboxes and process or forward issues or requests as needed.
📌 Qualifications & Skills
- Native-level Arabic, B2 (upper-intermediate or higher) English, fluent Kurdish (as a big plus).
- Strong proofreading, writing, and translation / localization / adaptation skills.
- Excellent understanding of Iraqi culture, traditions, and social dynamics.
- Ability to conduct local market research.
- Strong communication and networking skills, proactivity.
- Confident in using digital tools and software.
- Comfortable with Excel and reporting (basic data analysis & visualization).
- Solid foundation in IT, testing, and system / API integrations.
- Familiarity with business operations.

📌 Compensation & Benefits
- Probation Period (3 months): 1,100,000 IQD / month
- Post-Probation Salary: Upon successful completion of the probation period – 1,800,000 IQD / month
- Salary Reviews: Annual salary and performance reviews with potential increases based on performance
