Job Purpose:
To design, supervise, and ensure proper installation of mechanical systems and machinery for industrial construction projects, including piping, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review mechanical designs, layouts, piping diagrams, BOQs, and technical documentation.
- Supervise installation and commissioning of machinery, piping systems, compressors, pumps, HVAC, and industrial equipment.
- Coordinate with electrical and civil teams for equipment alignment and installation.
- Ensure mechanical systems comply with engineering standards, safety regulations, and manufacturer requirements.
- Conduct inspections, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
- Monitor contractor performance, ensure work quality, and resolve site issues.
- Prepare progress reports and participate in project meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial construction projects.
- Preferably, experience in machinery installation and industrial equipment alignment.
- Strong understanding of piping, HVAC, rotating equipment, and industrial tools.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar mechanical design software.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ready to move/travel between Erbil and Mosul.
