Job Purpose:
To plan, design, supervise, and inspect electrical systems and installations for industrial construction projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and review electrical systems for industrial facilities, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and panels.
- Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, load calculations, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes and safety standards.
- Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems during construction and operation phases.
- Monitor contractor activities, progress, and quality of electrical work.
- Communicate progress reports to project managers and recommend solutions for technical issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial construction projects.
- Experience in machinery and industrial equipment installation is preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical design software.
- Good English communication (written & spoken).
- Strong knowledge of safety standards, electrical codes, and load calculations.
- Ability to travel between Erbil and Mosul.
