STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
Experiences:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in providing operational support in the actual execution of architectural/engineering technical services and works.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Architecture in combination with 2-year of relevant experience can be accepted in lieu of the 3 years of experience
• Previous experience in dealing with rehabilitation/reconstruction of historical heritage sites, preferably in the Erbil Citadel and previous experience with UN Agencies and/or UNESCO will be considered as an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Integrity, including a commitment to respecting institutional rules and procedures;
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to liaise with different team members in the field of competence;
• Strong ability to manage priorities and flexibility in finding alternative options when necessary;
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships (both within and outside the Organization);
• Experience in working with specialized IT architectural programs, such as AutoCAD, GIS, Photoshop, etc., and other similar technical software will be considered as an asset.
Language:
• Excellent knowledge (written and oral) of the Kurdish language;
• Good command (written and oral) of the English and Arabic languages.
