Purpose of the Position
A Social Media Specialist is devoted to marketing RIGT products or services.
Within the Marketing team, the social media specialist is responsible for implementing RIGT’s (all brands) social media strategy & developing brand awareness. They will effectively manage and grow social communities across multiple platforms through insight, planning, development and delivery of social content & strong community engagement.
The specialist communicates with followers, responds to queries, monitors customer reviews, monitors site metrics, answers reader comments, and oversees creative design to build an audience and ensure customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Assisting customers with their inquiries and issues by offering the right answers and solutions
- Managing consumer interactions by ensuring timely responses to all comments, messages and reviews on social media sites, Apps, and websites.
- Execute social media strategies that build brand awareness, generate inbound traffic and increase sales.
- Responsible for social media support, including maintaining posts stock per the communication strategy.
- Responsible for generating consistent reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Monitoring and reporting social media activities performance and statistics such as followers and page likes, page views, and engagement to help determine advertising effectiveness.
- Developing a distinct online presence by attracting high internet followers through social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Assists in establishing and maintaining a consistent brand image throughout digital platform.
- Create creative captions matching the season as well as the brand persona.
- Monitoring social media platforms for breaking news stories and publishing relevant content on the company’s website.
- Tailor the content and style of writing assignments according to their purpose, like sell or inform.
- Responsible for developing, uploading, optimizing and monitoring content & design for the organization’s social media channels.
- Posting content and interesting articles or blog posts relevant to the company’s products or services.
- Scheduling posts on social media sites to increase exposure to target audiences.
- Requirement collection from Sales & Aftersales & Calendar plotting & draft the monthly calendar.
- Play as a focal point between Teams (Marketing Customer Service and Call Center).
- Day-to-day follow-up & coordination with teams (Marketing, Customer Service and Sales).
- Coordinating with the marketing team to develop strategies for engaging users with the content on social media sites and other communication channels.
- Regular training in the Customer Service Department (Call Center and Direct Sales) per the agreed agenda with management.
- Draft training communication strategy and work with Team and Manager to develop, improve, and publish.
- Proper research, collection of info, discussion with Marketing, Sales and related stakeholders to understand requirements, and preparation of notes to management for approvals.
- Identify new digital, mobile, and social marketing trends and ensure that the brand is ahead of industry developments.
- Overall handling, follow up and reporting of marketing subscriptions.
- Utilize the solid analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple social media channels and customer touch points.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong creative written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic and Kurdish
- In-depth knowledge/experience of SEO, SEA, remarketing, social media, web analytics and reporting
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and analytical skills
- Strong Communication, Negotiation skills and Time Management skills
- Sense of quality, Attention to details
- Proven working experience in social media marketing
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Experience in modelling and analyzing various KPIs
- Excellent experience in MS Office & Excel.
- Efficient knowledge of social media platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Good knowledge of CMS (website and mobile app).
Graphic designing is highly preferred using Adobe Software.
