A Hospital is seeking a Junior House Officer (JHO) to provide after-hours emergency room coverage on an on-call basis. The selected doctor will be expected to remain on-call from home and respond within 10 minutes when summoned, primarily to cover during the absence of the primary doctor on home watch visits.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Remain on-call from 5:00 PM to 9:00 AM on assigned days.
- Be available to arrive at the hospital (located in 32 Park) within 10 minutes when called.
- Deliver safe and timely emergency care until the return of the primary physician.
- Ensure proper handover documentation when assuming and relinquishing care.
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with the ER nursing and support staff.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and clinical protocols.
Requirements:
- Currently employed at a governmental hospital for at least one year.
- Possess a valid and up-to-date Iraqi Syndicate ID.
- Demonstrated ability to manage common emergency cases independently.
- Alignment with the Hospital’s mission, values, and professional standards.
