Core Responsibilities:
· Manage and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, including CentOS, Ubuntu, and Red Hat.
· Configure and maintain virtualization environments with a focus on VMware technologies such as vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
· Administer Domain Controllers, including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and Windows Failover Clustering to ensure high availability.
· Configure Layer 3 switches, VLANs and segmented network infrastructure.
· Develop and implement monitoring solutions using tools such as Zabbix and Nagios.
· Manage backup solutions with HPE StoreOnce and Veeam.
Essential Requirements:
· Configure and secure TCP/IP network protocols (DHCP, DNS, FTP, LDAP, SSL, SSH, SFTP).
· Maintain servers (Linux/Windows) including Active Directory, version control repositories, and web servers (Apache/Nginx, Docker).
· Manage backups, file restoration, disaster recovery, system builds, hardware maintenance, automation, filesystem housekeeping, application installation.
· Tune performance and ensure high availability through effective infrastructure design and monitoring/reporting tools.
· Create and maintain accurate deployment documentation and infrastructure diagrams.
Desired Skills:
· Proficient in Windows and Linux patching and patch management.
· Monitor and document all configuration changes regarding settings and policies.
· Apply security best practices related to server infrastructure.
· Manage infrastructure operations and change management processes.
· Expertise in network architecture and design.
· Ensure compliance with security regulations and relevant industry standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
· Provide technical support to other departments and teams.
· Extensive hands-on experience with VMware and virtualization environments, particularly using ESXi and vCenter.
