Title: Process Engineer
Location: Erbil Office
Duties
• The role involves working on current and future facilities expansion projects and providing support to ongoing Operations activities.
• Always promote safe behaviour in the office environment.
• Engage fully in all company provided training activities or courses.
• Prepare Process Engineering drawings and deliverables for company projects and in support of production operations.
• Under guidance complete the following Process Engineering tasks ensuring that they conform to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the company’s policies and procedures:
• Perform and extract data from process simulations (Hysys, EDR, FlareNet, etc.).
• Performing hydraulic calculations
• Development of H&MB.
• Development of PFDs and P&IDs.
• Development of Equipment Lists, Line Lists, Utility Lists, etc.
• Development of Process Data Sheets and provide inputs for control system and mechanical Data Sheets.
• Participated in risk assessment studies and ensured closure of actions and recommendations arising from them.
• Engaged with vendors, licensors, and engineering firms to conduct technical discussions and review documentation prepared by them.
• Ensure that their own work is completed diligently, without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Must have a B.Sc. in an Engineering Discipline with a willingness to learn Process Engineering Concepts and apply these in the workplace.
• Knowledge of basic Process Engineering concepts.
• Strong command of English language (demonstrated verbal and written skills).
• Computer literate and knowledgeable in relevant software tools and specifications of Microsoft computer applications.
• Good communication and ability to work as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willing to train with aspirations for personal advancement.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and technical drawing layout would be a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work and succeed in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Good listening skills and experience in verbal and written communication (reporting, briefing, presentations etc).
