Job Overview
The Surveyor Engineer is responsible for all surveying and site supervision activities for the Floria City residential project. This includes preparing and verifying layouts for roads, retaining walls, towers, utilities, and landscaping, monitoring structural accuracy, and ensuring compliance with design specifications. The role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality residential infrastructure through precise measurements, supervision, and technical coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1-Conduct land surveying, mapping, and topographic works for residential buildings, roads, utilities, and landscaping.
2-Prepare alignments, slope levels, and coordinates for structural and infrastructure elements.
3-Supervise and verify construction of retaining walls, water tanks, septic tanks, and other residential infrastructure.
4-Monitor post-construction structural shifts using survey instruments (e.g., total station, GPS).
5-Oversee road construction from subgrade to pavement and ensure proper drainage (rainwater, sewage).
6-Design and supervise landscaping layouts, sidewalks, and green areas within the residential project.
7-Check and prepare reinforcement layouts and lists for slabs, beams, and columns.
8-Perform measurements, estimates, and cost evaluations for surveying-related works.
9-Document all survey data, drawings, and reports for project management.
10-Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
11-Perform any other duties related to surveying, design, or site supervision as assigned by the Line Manager
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying Engineering.
-3–5 years of experience in surveying for residential or infrastructure projects.
-Proficiency in surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
-Strong knowledge of roads, retaining walls, utilities, and landscaping in residential settings.
-Attention to detail, accuracy in measurements, and strong reporting/documentation skills.
