Al-Rakeezeh Foundation for Relief and Development (RRD) is pleased to announce several job openings within the FORSA Project, implemented in partnership with Education Above All (EAA) and Save the Children (SCI).
The project aims to support Out-of-School Children (OOSC) in Iraq by improving access to inclusive and quality education.

Contract Type: Full-time, 12 months (renewable, subject to donor funding and satisfactory performance)
- Job Purpose
The Supply Chain Officer is responsible for managing procurement, logistics, and inventory operations for the FORSA Project. This includes ensuring the timely and transparent acquisition, storage, and distribution of goods and services in line with RRD and donor (EAC/Save the Children) procurement policies. The position ensures that educational materials, assistive devices, and other project supplies reach the intended beneficiaries efficiently and safely.
- Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor procurement plans in coordination with the Project Manager and Finance Officer.
- Ensure all procurement and logistics processes comply with RRD and donor (EAC/SCI) regulations.
- Prepare and manage purchase requests, quotations, bid evaluations, and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset records, ensuring proper tagging and tracking.
- Organize and oversee the storage, transportation, and distribution of project materials and supplies to schools and learning centers.
- Support the procurement and distribution of learning materials, cash-for-transportation kits, and assistive devices for children with disabilities.
- Coordinate with the Education Officer and MEAL Officer to ensure accurate documentation of distributed items.
- Ensure proper maintenance and servicing of project vehicles and equipment.
- Conduct regular market assessments and maintain an updated supplier database.
- Prepare procurement and logistics reports for internal use and donor submissions.
- Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain roles with NGOs or international organizations.
- Proven understanding of donor compliance requirements (e.g., Save the Children, UNICEF, UN agencies).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software; English and Arabic fluency required.
