Position: Operations Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Operations Engineer to join our Bitumen production unit. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient plant operations, contribute to continuous improvement, and support our commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor daily operations in the Bitumen section.
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues to maintain consistent production.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and safety teams to meet production targets.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to improve process efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Ensure all activities comply with industry standards, company policies, and HSE regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in refinery or petrochemical operations (Bitumen experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in computer programs (MS Office, Excel, and operational software).
- Strong AutoCAD skills are required for reviewing and modifying technical drawings.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, and English (written and spoken).
